What can FAIRWORK Belgium do for you?

Through our helpdesk for domestic staff & au pairs, we offer individual support and information relating to your employment rights and the manner in which you can enforce these rights. We put you in touch with the labour inspectorate and we can help you with filing a complaint against your employer and the remainder of the process.

You can get in touch with us in Dutch,French,English and Spanish. If you speak a different language, ask a friend or acquaintance to phone for you.

In addition to our helpdesk, we set up the empowerment project, FAIRWORK Belgium for Domestic Workers for domestic staff and au pairs in Belgium. In the framework of this project, we organise socio-cultural activities once a month just for au pairs. This includes visits to museums and guided walking tours through various Belgian cities, workshops etc..). We do this so you can experience a real cultural exchange programme in real life and to put you in touch with other au pairs.

During these activities, we might inform you about your rights as an au pair and the responsibilities of your host family. All our activities for au pairs arecompletely free of charge and are organised in English.. Information about your rights can be provided in Dutch, French, English and Spanish.
